Quick Note: Dillon Mitchell’s Strengths Translated to NBA Summer League — An Encouraging Sign for His Celtics Future

Dillon Mitchell’s strengths at St. John’s translated to NBA Summer League, where he was yet again a Swiss Army Knife forward, posting averages of 13/5/1.3/1.3/2.7 in 26 MPG. Mitchell used his rim running, baseline roaming, explosive bounce and defensive disruption to contribute in many facets without needing to create for himself.

He even hit three 3-pointers in three games after making only one in 37 games last year.

Mitchell is currently on a two-way contract; he has a real chance to contribute to the Boston Celtics and have an impactful NBA career, if Summer League was any indication.
