Nike Global Challenge 2013 (Washington D.C.): No one—and I mean no one—matched Egi’s energy and motor.
A rising senior who will play at Montverde Academy (FL) next season, Egi had 13 points and 11 rebounds in 20 minutes against Pan-Africa on Saturday. He’s a freak athlete and tenacious rebounder, who excels in an up-and-down setting.
Egi runs the floor for dunks and put-backs. Defensively, he roams the paint to block shots. His motor is unbelievable; Egi seemingly gained energy as the game went on. Egi showed he could play with any American big-man, strictly off athletic ability and passion. There was no player at the event who played with a better sense of urgency and awareness.
